Holy Hour

The Holy Hour occurs on the last Sunday of every month from 3 PM-4 PM at St. Agnes Church in Iron River, for the healing of the nation and the world. Please spend that hour in prayer, whether in church, at home, at work, or elsewhere. All are welcome to join us.

Annual Milestone Wedding

Anniversary Celebration

Sunday, August 29th 3:30pm ET The Marquette Diocese and the Knights of Columbus will give special recognition to couples celebrating their 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 50th or 51st and above wedding anniversary anytime during this (or last) year. They and their families are invited to the Milestone Wedding Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, August 29th at St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette with a meal to follow. Widows and widowers who would have celebrated a milestone anniversary this year are also invited and encouraged to attend, as are newlywed couples married in 2019 or later who haven’t attended a previous celebration. If you plan to attend, please fill out and return the registration form (forms are available at the St. Agnes Rectory Office or online at: www.dioceseofmarquette.org/mwa) as soon as possible so plans can be finalized. Those celebrating their Golden Anniversary (50th) this year are also asked to include, if possible, a recent photograph for publication in The U.P. Catholic diocesan newspaper. Registration deadline is Tuesday, August 24, 2021.

The recent food drive hosted by the St Anne Society of St Cecilia Church was a huge success. The food drive benefited the local St Cecilia and St Agnes Conference of the St Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. Because of your donations, there were 434 pounds of non-perishable items collected, as well as $235 in cash! Thank you all for your support and generosity to our community!
